The answer is quite simple. My faith is important to me and over the years I have prayed for God to make clear to me how my gifts and talents can serve Him and my family.
Secondly, the wedding industry is HUGE which can be a bit intimidating but by finding my niche based on my talents, passions, and knowledge I can better serve my clients. This allows for clear boundaries and the ability to be selective with how many weddings I take on each year.
Lastly, the Catholic Sacrament of Marriage in all its beauty is sacred and the only one of its kind, I couldn’t imagine offering wedding photography services to any other kind of ceremony.
I use both film and digital, depending on the light and what will produce the best images by situation. I believe fully in preserving your legacy in the most timeless, classic way, and I whole heartedly believe there is magic in capturing and preserving your memories the same way as your grandparents' did so long ago on film.
Great question! Is there really a difference between hiring a photographer verses one that is also Catholic? Yes! But it also depends on your priorities for the day. I understand the liturgy and the flow of the Nuptial Mass. While also "working" I give extreme reverence for the Mass because I believe the same thing you do.
Additionally, I know when it is appropriate to capture photos, when to not, and I am comfortable shooting in the often unfortunate lighting of Catholic churches.

Most definitely. I have worked with many planners from small intimate weddings to grand affairs and I have seen first hand just how crucial they are in the wedding planning process. The moments leading up to the big day can be stressful and filled with so many details but with a planner you are able to release that stress and just enjoy the stage of engagement.
Because I have been formally trained in the fine arts, I bring a certain level of creativity and understanding of what goes into a perfectly composed image. Not everyone shoots with film to deliver those timeless images while also using digital to give you that certainty and speed.

Absolutely! Intimate weddings are near and dear to my heart. I got married with only 10 people (thanks to COVID). There is such a special quality to intimate weddings and just because it is small in numbers doesn't mean it needs to be small in design and style. If you are having a small Catholic wedding, count me in!

Yes! Most of my clients opt to preserve their wedding or session in an heirloom album. Albums are handmade to give you the most bespoke experience.
I only take on 10 weddings a year. This number has been carefully chosen that way I am able to fully invest in each of my couples. My approach is very hands on and personalized so I don't take on numerous weddings to preserve client experience as well as to make sure that time is never sacrificed from my growing family.
